A Note From Dr. Beverly Nelson, Director
Last week was one for the books! As I told you, I had the honor to be a keynote speaker in the 1st Wellness & Spirituality Expo. It was such an amazing event, full of inspiring stories, remarkable persons and it gave us all an opportunity to share our experiences and perspectives about the relevance of spirituality in the 21st century. Those of us who were there had the privilege to be part of something bigger than ourselves, something valuable, noble and life-changing. The power and energy of that group of people I was privileged to be a part of, will always stay with me, reminding me of the wonderful things we can accomplish, and of how much we can transform each other’s lives for the better when we join spirits and forces.
We also had a wonderful event at LifePath Center, setting up our first ever Day of the Dead altar. The whole LifePath community came together for this activity, joining in a heartfelt tribute for our ancesters, influences and inspirations. I invite you to take a look at the picture gallery on our Facebook page, with some great snapshots of the event. It was a beautiful moment that united our group so much, in such a meaningful way!
Every time that things like these happen, it reminds me of what a powerful impact a community is capable of achieving when it is united and when it has love and enthusiasm at its core, seeking to create a positive change in the world, no matter how big or small.
When was the last time you were part of a community that changed things for the better? I would love to hear about your experience!
