When Naturopth Dana Kraft moved here from England a few months ago, it was to intern at LifePath Center. She had left a busy practice in London to find out how our Center works, so she could someday set up her own personal growth and retreat center in Europe.
She tells us she is learning a lot; meanwhile, we are learning a great deal from Dana. So much so, that Dana is joining our list of holistic Practitioners as a Nutritional Therapist.
Dana says that all her work is guided by the fundamental principles of naturopathy:
The WHOLE person is treated – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
The PERSON is treated, not the disease, and each individual is unique and each person responds in a different way to different remedies.
The root (underlying) cause of dysfunction is identified and treated, not the branches (symptoms).
Vis Medicatrix Naturae – The healing power of nature There is ‘vital force’ or ‘life force’ which given the right conditions, will self-heal or self-correct.
Health is much greater than just ‘absence of infirmity’ – it should be abundant vitality.
Prevention is preferable to cure.
In addition to her individual sessions in Nutritional Therapy, Dana will be offering a series of Classes on topics relating to Practical Nutrition, starting July 27 with “Practical Nutrition for Improving Your Memory.” Put it on your calendar now (so you won’t forget).
Welcome, Dana Kraft, to LifePath Center!
