A Note From Dr. Beverly Nelson, Director
When we are trying to solve an important problem, we tend to ‘zoom in’ and focus on it, coming up with alternatives that might produce negative or positive results, entirely on our own. Whenever we find ourselves in this kind of situation, the best thing we can do is ask our loved ones for their input.
The opinions of those persons who matter the most to us can make a huge difference in the way we perceive a challenge. They bring us an entirely refreshing approach to the bigger picture, which we many times overlook because we are too immersed in our problem.
I had the most amazing brainstorming session this week with a small group of my close friends about LifePath’s future. It was fun, insightful, helpful, intriguing and creative. Stay tuned for many of these ideas to be put into action, and many thanks to these friends for their loyal support!
When was the last time you looked at the bigger picture? Are your friends and family part of that perspective? Think about it: the solution to what’s troubling you might be right there.
