A Note From Dr. Beverly Nelson, Director
Life goes on, in gratitude – as it should!
We are thrilled and grateful every time someone comes through the doors of our new home and tells us how much they love the light, the energy and the vibe of the place. A special tip of the hat goes to Joseph Bennett and Eli Hans, the Sublime Design guys, for their fundamental role in creating the new home of LifePath Center. Also, our hat is off to the amazing skills and beautiful work that Alejandro Negrete did with the landscape design according to Vasnu Sacred Architecture. Our new surroundings made me think of how important it is to be in a space in which we feel comfortable. By ‘space’ I’m not only talking about a physical one, but also an emotional and psychological space. The colors of the walls, the plants and flowers in our gardens or backyards, the sound of wind chimes transported softly to our ears…all these elements (and many more) of our physical space can help us reach a mental state of peace, warmth and happiness.
It is vital to feel ‘at home’ in your home, whether it is a room you are renting for a few months, an apartment, a huge house or a modern loft in a big city. Our surroundings affect our outlook on life and work in a direct and powerful way. It has also been proven that our being comfortable in our homes affects our physical well-being. Therefore, I invite you to contemplate your personal space(s) and try to see if there is anything you can do to improve it. A fabulous set of new curtains, or a couple of lovely new plants with gorgeous flowers, can sometimes do the trick. By the way, if you feel like your space needs some more attention, you might want to swing by Alejandro Negrete’s Vastu workshop later this month. Details are below 😉
Have you ever experienced a surge of positive energy thanks to a change in your physical surroundings? I would love to hear from your experience!
P.S. Remember to like our Facebook page – we post updates there all the time, and it’s where we will first post photos of our new location!
