A Note From Dr. Beverly Nelson, Director
During the last ten years, the terms ‘visualization’ and ‘manifestation’ have become part of our day-to-day conversations. A vast majority of people have at least a brief notion of what these words mean. As a consequence, there is a lot of hype surrounding them – everybody wants to read the success stories because we all want to be inspired, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Many people are also interested in the best methods for visualizing and manifesting.
Do you want to know a secret? When it comes to visualization and/or manifestation, there are no right or wrong methods. You will definitely come across many tutorials and articles with suggestions on how to proceed in order to manifest your inner wishes, and while many of them are effective, it all depends on who we are and what we want to achieve through visualization and manifestation. Therefore, there is no best way to do it. There is only the way that feels right for you. However, the first step is always the same: creating an intention.
In fact, you may have already performed this first step. Knowing what you want may sound like an obvious starting point but, believe it or not, few people know what they truly want. What we may think we want is usually the result of society’s conventions. It can be very surprising to take a look in the mirror and discover that what we actually want is very different, even opposite, to what we thought we wanted.
Without really knowing what we want, there can be no manifestation. So, it’s vital that we are completely aware of our true desires, and in tune with our true selves. I have confirmed this during the last few months: the strength with which what I visualized has manifested itself, gradually and in unforeseen ways each day, has really blown my mind!
Do you know what you really want? I would love to hear it!
