It happens to all of us:
One certain evening, we have to make it on time for dinner at a friend’s so, we leave our house on time and then, a couple of streets away, we notice there is a parade of some kind, of which we didn’t know anything about. We are then forced onto a different route, thanks to which we come across a store that sells the exact kind of writing desk we have been looking for since a few months ago.
Some other day, we are walking our dog and she seems to want to go in a different direction than the one we intended. Just for the sake of curiosity, we let her lead the way, and she finds the most beautiful spot on the park, where you run into some friends you hadn’t seen in a long time, who just arrived in town the day before.
What if we decided to take a chance more often? What if we let the universe take the wheel for a few moments? We can’t even imagine the wonderful things, the amazing people and the sheer amount of joy we might be missing if we always stick to the map, if we are permanently glued to a schedule full of definite expectations.
When was the last time you took a detour with pleasant results? I would really enjoy reading about how the universe has surprised you with unexpected blessings!
