The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. – Elie Wiesel
It is so usual, and so easy, to be discouraged by the attitude of others. Whether it’s another individual’s opinions, or those of the majority; it can be frustrating to either accept or try to modify what most people believe to be right.
The fact that we care, and that we are concerned or worried about the state of affairs in the city or country we live in; is an indication of our sense of humanity. Even though it may require every ounce of good will and patience we have, it is our sacred duty to continue to work for peace and tolerance; for respect and understanding; at all times.
Even though people will not understand why you care about peace and justice; or when many fail to see the good intentions and the love behind each one of your actions, it does not mean that you should stop caring.
When we join forces in working towards peace, harmony and understanding; magic happens. Love happens – and isn’t that better than a grey world full of apathy?
