Did those 6 months fly by, or what?!
Half of the year is already gone – wow! 2014 has bestowed upon us many blessings; however, it has also been a challenging year. We have been given so many opportunities to learn and to become better versions of ourselves. It has been difficult sometimes, but we must remember to be grateful for the lessons. And – most importantly – we must apply our new knowledge to make the best out of the six months we still have left of this year.
Is there something you’ve been postponing? Maybe learning a specific skill; or taking care of a pending task. Perhaps it’s an ‘uncomfortable’ job that needs to get done. Well – there’s no better time than today! Make a task list and think of the steps you need to take to tackle each individual item.
It’s also great if we do a bit of a personal evaluation of our own lives. Whether on the personal or professional aspect, when we analyze our ‘baggage’ we can see, very clearly, what is working and what is not working. Any person, task, place or project that does not make you better – happier, fulfilled, productive – is slowing you down and hindering your progress. Make the tough call and get rid of the clutter. That way you make space for positive things!
I’m always looking forward to hear what you have to say – send me your thoughts at docbeverly@aol.com.
