A Note From Dr. Beverly Nelson, Director
Work-in-progress
Pending tasks – or, as I like to call them, ‘projects’: while we may dread them for various reasons, the truth is that our task list will never be empty. We should be glad, for as long as we have tasks to perform, work pending completion, or issues we need to improve, we can be sure that our lives are evolving and benefiting from all the experiences we accumulate while checking off items of our to-do lists.
I am re-learning this lesson now that LifePath is settling into its new home. Last-minute repairs; tiny details that make a huge difference; the right piece of art in the right place; and many other factors are taken into consideration. One minute it’s ten in the morning, and a moment later it’s already two thirty in the afternoon. Wow, talk about time flying!
Aside from all the activities that take place at LifePath everyday (such as classes, workshops, sessions with practitioners, etc.), many things go on backstage; after a long morning of work, I often join the staff in the guests’ kitchen at LifePath, discussing the main events of the day and planning for what needs to be taken care of the following day. A good dose of laughter and good humor is incredibly helpful, and the best solution for stress. Our staff is truly amazing and we don’t know what we would do without them!
We are all permanently working on improving our facilities and services for you. Our biggest reward is your happiness when you step into a space is taken care of, right up to the last detail.
Let me tell you – it’s SO worth it.
P.S. Remember to like our Facebook page – we post updates there all the time, and it’s where we will first post photos of our new location!
