The past few months have reaffirmed in me the notion that any dream can turn into a reality, if you set goals and decide a course of action. Who would have thought that a whole organization with incredible people and extraordinary goals would be born out of a few simple – yet very relevant – questions:
What can be done do turn San Miguel into a better, more peaceful place?
What do we need to do to bring positive change into our community?
The series of events, all the hard work and the happy coincidences that have brought us to this day will never cease to amaze me. I get goosebumps just remembering how fast everybody jumped into the Camino De La Paz initiative – talk about support and kind nature! I feel so blessed, every day, to have the opportunity to collaborate with so many wonderful people; and to join forces with other amazing and one-of-a-kind local organizations who are making wonderful things happen in our community and beyond.
