No Need To Rush

There will always be things that need attention, some of them urgently. The more you can’t stop thinking about ‘the list’, the more time seems to shrink. You wake up thinking about it, you shower and eat breakfast thinking about it, losing those precious couple of hours before the true ‘action’ of the day begins. Once you start working on doing what needs to be done you already feel burned out and exhausted – because you have actually been working for several hours in your head, making no real progress.

A Sense of Irony

We take things and people for granted on a daily basis, so much so that we’re no longer conscious of what we are doing. When we are fortunate enough to have an income, we take for granted that we are going to be able to eat every day. When we are healthy, we seldom think about what a privilege it is to be able to do anything we want (watching a movie, swimming, going for a walk, dance, etc.), whenever we want.
